Guinevere Named Among the Top 40 Under 40 in Analytical Science!

We are delighted to share that Dr. Guinevere Lageveen-Kammeijer, Principal Investigator of the SUGAR Lab, has been selected for The Analytical Scientist's Top 40 Under 40 Power List 2026!

The international Power List recognizes 40 emerging scientists under the age of 40 who are making significant contributions to analytical science and helping shape the future of the field. Guinevere's research focuses on advancing high-sensitivity glycomics and glycoproteomics through innovative analytical technologies, particularly capillary electrophoresis coupled to mass spectrometry (CE-MS).

By developing approaches capable of characterizing complex glycan structures from increasingly small amounts of biological material, her research aims to uncover molecular details that remain inaccessible using conventional techniques. An important long-term ambition is to bring structurally resolved glycomics towards the single-cell level.

In her interview with The Analytical Scientist, Guinevere reflects on her scientific journey, the importance of analytical innovation, and the opportunities and challenges associated with the emerging field of single-cell glycomics. This recognition also reflects the collaborative efforts of the many students, researchers, technicians, mentors, and collaborators who have contributed to the research over the years.

Congratulations to Guinevere and all scientists featured in the 2026 Power List!
