Guinevere S.M. Lageveen-Kammeijer
Assistant Professor, University of Groningen
Personal profile
I am dedicated to advancing the field of glycosylation through meticulous research and innovative methodologies. With over decade of academic experience, I have honed my skills in biomarker discovery and analytical chemistry, focusing on the intricacies of glycosylation and its implications in malignant processes. My drive to improve existing analytical platforms and sample preparation protocols reflects my commitment to excellence and practical solutions.
Collaboration is a cornerstone of my research philosophy. I thrive in environments where I can engage with multidisciplinary teams, exchanging ideas and insights to foster groundbreaking discoveries. My strong communication skills facilitate effective partnerships, allowing us to tackle complex problems from diverse perspectives.
In the realm of CE-MS for single cell glycomics analysis, I am particularly excited by the potential of integrating novel approaches to enhance our understanding of glycosylation patterns. This innovative exploration does not only require a continuous improvement of analytical platforms but also seeks to contribute significantly to our understanding of cancer biology. By translating theoretical concepts into actionable research, I strive to make meaningful contributions to both science and the greater good of society.
