Strong SUGAR Lab presence at IMSC 2026 and national separation science meetings

The SUGAR Lab will be strongly represented at the International Mass Spectrometry Conference (IMSC) 2026 in Lyon, France with multiple presentations highlighting ongoing developments in glycomics, glycoproteomics, and CE-MS methodology development.

On August 25th, Dr. Hector F. Loponte will present:
“Accelerating Glycomics with GlycoGenius: Automated Annotation at Scale”

Later that day, Guinevere Lageveen-Kammeijer will present:
“Glycan Fingerprints of GSD I: In-depth Plasma N-Glycome Signatures in Ia and Ib”

In addition, Karthika Shaji will present:
“From Method Development to Tissue Application: Ultra-low-input CE-MS-based N- and O-Glycan Profiling of Sinonasal Mucosal Melanoma”

The SUGAR Lab will also contribute to national mass spectrometry and separation science activities. During the Working Group of Separation Sciences (WGS) meeting at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (June 3rd), both Karthika Shaji and Dr. Hector F. Loponte will present their recent work, including developments related to:
“GlycoGenius: Automatic Interpretation of LC/CE-MS Glycomics Data”

We are excited to share our work with the broader analytical chemistry and glycoscience communities and look forward to inspiring scientific discussions and new collaborations.
